CONFERENCE VENUE and ACCOMMODATIONS*

The conference venue will be the beautiful and historic Mission Inn, which was built in successive stages between 1876 and 1931. Most of the conference events will be taking place in the hotel, which is situated in the heart of downtown Riverside, in easy walking distance from historical landmarks, museums, restaurants, and shops. The Mission Inn offers complimentary shuttle service to and from Ontario Airport.

The cutoff date for all sleeping room reservations is Friday, May 16, 2008.  Any reservations made after this date are subject to hotel availability.

Each attendee should contact the Mission Inn's Room Reservations Department at 800-843-7755 or 951-784-0300, extension 850. Attendees should reference The Colloquium on Violence & Religion when making their reservation(s). A major credit card or one-night deposit is required to guarantee each reservation. Individual reservations must be cancelled a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours in advance to avoid cancellation charges.

A special conference rate of $120 per night, for a single, and $135 per night, for a double, (or $67.50 per guest sharing a double) is available from the 18th to the 22nd of June.*
